WHAT IS YOUR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE?
We guarantee all discount wedding gowns to be brand new and free from any manufacturer defects. We inspect each and every discount wedding gown for quality assurance. Should you find a problem with your discount bridal gown please notify Elegant Gowns within 3 business days and we will either repair or replace your gown at no charge. Please keep in mind that due to shipping your gown will need to be steamed therefore wrinkling is not considered a defect.

DOES ELEGANT GOWNS ACCEPT RETURNS FOR BRIDAL GOWNS?
Yes! Elegant Gowns is one of the very few on-line bridal salons to accept returns for Bridal Gowns. Please follow the instructions very carefully as any return which does not follow our procedures in a timely manner, will not qualify for a return. There will be a 10% restocking charge, minimum $30.00, for all returns. The credit will be either be refunded to the credit card used for payment, or by check sent via the US Post Office (Refund options will be at the discretion of Elegant Gowns) and processed within 5 business days of our receipt of the gown. Gowns that are "Featured Gowns" are offered at special, temporary price cuts - restocking fee for these gowns will be calculated based on the regular price, not the special featured price.
  • You must contact Elegant Gowns within 3 calendar days of the delivery of your Bridal Gown if you wish to return it to receive your Return Authorization number. You MUST have a return authorization number to return the gown. Please write the authorization number on the outside of the box.
  • You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping the discount wedding gown to Elegant Gowns and Elegant Gowns strongly suggests shipping the gown insured with a tracking number as we will not be responsible for gowns lost in transit.
  • Elegant Gowns MUST receive the gown within 6 business days of issuing the Return Authorization Number.
  • All gowns need to have their original tags with their original bag and must be in brand new, unworn condition. We do not accept for return any gown that is altered in any way or is with stains, dirt, make-up, cigarette odor, perfume etc. All discount wedding dresses must pass through our inspection to qualify for return.
  • All free gifts included with the gown MUST be returned for the gown to be eligible for return (Travel Certificate, garter, and gown bag). If items are missing, the following amounts will be subtracted from the balance owed to you: Travel Certificate: $40.00, Garter: $10.00, Garment Bag: $10.00. IF EXCHANGING YOUR GOWN FOR ANOTHER SIZE, STYLE, OR COLOR PLEASE KEEP YOUR GIFTS!
  • Any gown that does not meet the above criteria will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.
  • ALL SHIPPING COSTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE PAID FOR ADDITIONAL SHIPPING.
  • RUSH CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
*The 10% restocking charge will be based on Elegant Gowns’ Regular Price for the gown. If you purchase the gown with one of our special coupons, the restocking charge will be calculated based on our Regular Price, not the coupon price. Minimum restocking charge is $30.00

*Please note that any return which does not follow our procedures above in a timely manner, will not qualify for a return. *Gowns purchased with any changes to the design or measurements final sales and are NOT eligible under Elegant Gowns' return policy.

*Clearance gowns are NOT be available for return.

*BRIDESMAID DRESSES ARE FINAL SALES AND CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.

DOES ELEGANT GOWNS ACCEPT RETURNS FOR BRIDESMAID DRESSES?
Elegant Gowns cannot accept bridesmaid dresses for return. If the bridesmaid dress you ordered is the wrong size, we may be able to accommodate a discount for a new dress, but we cannot accept the original dress for return.

I ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE IS THERE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO?
Most of our discount wedding gowns can be easily altered up or down a size. Please also keep in mind that most discount bridal gowns will need at least some alterations to achieve the perfect fit and will need to be steamed before your big day.

If you order your discount wedding dress and find that it is too big or too small and your seamstress cannot alter the discount bridal dress to your size, please follow the Return procedures very carefully for a size exchange Any size exchange request that does not follow our procedures in a timely manner, will not qualify for exchange.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Your order is placed immediately with our supplier, therefore once you submit your order it cannot be cancelled. Should you change your mind, please notify Elegant Gowns immediately and we will attempt to cancel your order for your gown. We make no guarantees that the order will be able to be cancelled, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. If we are successful in canceling your order, a cancellation charge of 10% or $30 (whichever is less) will be applied. *The Cancellation Charge does not apply for orders that we are unable to ship within 3-6 weeks.

WHAT IF I FIND THE GOWN FOR LESS SOMEWHERE ELSE?
Elegant Gowns keeps our overhead to a minimum so that we can extend our savings to you! We are confident that our discount wedding dresses are the lowest price on the Internet. Should you find another retailer selling the exact same discount bridal dress for less on the Internet (including shipping, handling, and extra size costs) please provide us with the link to the wedding discount gown and we will try to beat our competitor’s pricing. Price matches must be requested prior to placing your order.
*We cannot offer price matching for our Romance Collection.

*Price matches are only available for competitors with actual on-line stores. Gowns found on eBay are not able to be price matched.

*If Elegant Gowns price matches our competitor and you need to take advantage of our size exchange or return policy, the 10% re-stocking charge will be assessed based on Elegant Gowns' Regular Price as shown on www.elegantgowns.com

Yes! International customers will be responsible for the cost of shipping ($75.00 US). For International purchases, there may be customs and/or duty tax. All duties, taxes or other fees are the responsibility of the customer and Elegant Gowns is not liable for a shipping delay caused by a package held up at the airport or other port of entry due to unpaid duties or taxes. To avoid unexpected delays or charges, please check with your local authorities before placing your order.

CAN I HAVE MY DRESS SHIPPED TO MY HOME?
We strongly suggest that you consider using your work address as the shipping address if there is no one at your place of residence during the day to sign for the package. A signature is a viable tracking tool that eliminates the worry of the whereabouts of your order. An Email will be sent the day your order is being shipped with the tracking number. Please allow 5-7 business days for the order to arrive.

All shipping addresses must be specific and complete with the correct name, any Apartment or Loft information, Company Name, Suite number, City, State and Zip Code.

If any of the shipping information changes, you must notify us prior to our shipment of the order to you. UPS/FedEx charges $15.00 to re-route a package. The individual receiving the package would be responsible to pay this fee before the package could be resent.

WHERE CAN I TRY THE DRESSES ON?
Elegant Gowns is exclusively an On-line Discount Bridal Salon. Our gowns are not labeled and while the same exact gowns are also sold by salons with designer labels throughout the US, we do not have any way of determining which designer each gown is marketed by. Elegant Gowns prices our discount gowns keeping in mind that some of our brides may not wear the gown they purchase from me for their wedding. We also offer a generous return policy should you wish to return the gown.

IS THERE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR PLUS SIZE GOWNS?
The Elegant Gowns store is happy to provide brides of all sizes the same price, so there is not an additional charge for plus size discount wedding dress!

CAN I ORDER MY GOWN WITH CUSTOM LENGTH?
Our discount bridal gowns are cut to standard lengths according to the size ordered. Please review the size chart for more details. Custom length is not available for our Timeless or Roberta Collections. Custom length may be ordered for gowns from our Dreams, Classic, Divine, Cinderella, Cinderella Couture, and Romance Collections at an additional cost.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY GOWN?
Timeless Collection: Most gowns from our Timeless Collection will be delivered to you within 3-4 weeks. In rare cases it may take up to 16-20 weeks for delivery. If your discount wedding gown will not be available for delivery within the normal 3-4 weeks you will be notified within 3 business days of placing your order. Should you choose to continue with your order for the longer delivery, Elegant Gowns will charge your credit card 20% of the purchase price immediately with the balance due before shipment.

Divine: These gowns are available for delivery within 4-5 weeks. Rush delivery may be possible for an additional cost. Dream & Classic Collections: These gowns are available for delivery within 4-8 weeks. Rush delivery may be possible for an additional cost.

Cinderella and Cinderella Couture Collections: These gowns are available for delivery within 6-10 weeks. Rush delivery may be possible for an additional cost.

Roberta Bridals: Select styles and colors are available for delivery within 4-5 weeks, these are labeled as “Quick Delivery” gowns. All other styles and colors are available for delivery within 8-10 weeks.

Dream & Classic Collections: These gowns are available for delivery within 4-8 weeks. Rush delivery may be possible for an additional cost.

Romance Collection: Most gowns from our Romance Collection will be delivered to you within 2-3 weeks. In rare cases it may take up to 12 weeks for delivery. If your discount wedding gown will not be available for delivery within the normal 2-3 weeks, you will be notified within 3 business days of placing your order. Should you choose to continue with your order for the longer delivery, Elegant Gowns will charge your credit card 50% of the purchase price immediately with the balance due before shipment.

HOW DO YOU OFFER SUCH QUICK SHIPPING WHERE ELSEWHERE IT CAN TAKE MONTHS TO RECEIVE MY GOWN ORDER?
Elegant Gowns partners with bridal wholesale companies who understand that brides cannot and often are not able to wait 4-6 months for their gowns. We partner with warehouses that stock thousands of gowns at all times, but who can also special order out of stock items; we also partner with designers and factories that offer much quicker shipping (5-10 weeks) than normal.

Absolutely. There are no gowns at Elegant Gowns that sell for over $1100.00 and the average price of our gowns is only $400.00 including shipping!

WHAT IF I FIND THE GOWN OF MY DREAMS AND I’M NOT READY TO BUY IT YET? (I’m not ready financially or I want to show others.) CAN YOU HOLD THE GOWN FOR ME?
Elegant Gowns suggests purchasing your gown as soon as you have decided on the style you wish to purchase. If the gown is not in stock in the size and color you need, it can take up to 4 months for delivery. If you are not financially ready to purchase your gown, Elegant Gowns offers a lay-a-way plan. A 50% deposit is required and the balance must be paid in full within 60 days, with NO additional charged. Each 30 day extension beyond the 60 days will incur an additional $10.00 holding charge to be added to the final payment. Gowns not paid for in full within 120 days will be cancelled and all monies paid forfeited. The gown will ship upon receipt of full payment We accept Credit & Debit cards from Visa or MasterCard as well as Discover. At this time we only accept eChecks via PayPal.

HOW IS ELEGANT GOWNS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER ONLINE BRIDAL STORES?
Elegant Gowns goes right to the source to purchase our beautiful gowns. The gowns we sell are of the same high quality as the designers sold in traditional salons and by other online retailers. Because we do not sell “designer” labeled gowns, you still get a beautiful bridal gown, without the designer price.
